Harald started racing when he was only 8 years old. Also his father Vladi was a successful racing driver when he was young, so it was his initiative to put his son behind a steering wheel. After the first few laps in carting – Harald understood, that he not only likes racing, but he is also really good at it! For the next few years Harald was competing in several carting championships, having good results and improving race by race.

At the age of 14 Harald got the next big chance- for the first time he tested real formula car. This was the point in his career where he understood, that he can really become a professional racing driver. In the first year of racing formula cars Harald competed in two championships – the Austrian formula Lista championship and the Scandinavian formula Renault 2000 championship. He was immediately fast and in his first year he won the Austrian formula Lista championship and became the Rookie of the year in the Scandinavian formula Renault championship finishing 5th in the overall standings.

The next step forward was Formula 3. All the great drivers like Schumacher and Senna have passed the school of Formula3 before landing in F1. Harald joined the team HS Technic Motorsport for the German Formula 3 championship. Harald once again proved his talent- he won the trophy championship, became 3rd in the overall standings and was also awarded with the price- „Rookie of the year”.

In the following years Harald competed in many different formula championships. He was winning races in Formula3 Euroseries, which has been graduated by drivers like Luiss Hamilton, Sebastian Vettel, Nico Rosberg and many more current formula 1 drivers. Harald also raced in Formula Master, Formula Atlantic, Renault World Series and even GP2 which is the last step before F1.

In 2010 Harald also tried touring cars. Harald was invited by Porsche to their young driver test and despite the fact that he never drove a touring car before- out of all drivers he was the best. Harald became „Porsche young talent 2010” and got a scholarship for the German Carrera Cup.
